Australasian Human Development Association conference

The 2013 Australasian Human Development Association conference will be held from July 1 – 4 on the Gold Coast, QLD. This year the conference includes a full-day keynote–only symposium on Environmental Influences on Children’s Theory of Mind, featuring a line-up of international scholars. Additionally, there will be keynotes by Professor Alan Hayes (Australian Institute of Family Studies), Professor Bonnie Barber (Murdock University) and Professor Luca Surian (University of Trento, Italy) and an invited symposium on Indigenous Education led by Associate Professor Paul Whitinui (University of Otago, NZ).

Registration is now open, with single-day and full-conference registration options. Poster submissions will be accepted through the end of May.



Hello. My name's Jon Brock. I'm a Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at the ARC Centre for Cognition and its Disorders and the Departments of Cognitive Science and Psychology at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. My research focuses on cognitive and neural mechanisms involved in developmental disorders including autism, Williams syndrome, and Down syndrome. Publications can be downloaded here.
