Applications are invited from individuals with a strong research background in Paediatric Clinical Psychology who are eligible for full membership of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists. Applicants should hold, or be close to completing, a PhD in Psychology. The successful applicant will be expected to develop internationally competitive research, preferably in the paediatric clinical area and ideally of a type that intersects with other research strengths of the School. The appointee will provide teaching and clinical supervision in our professional graduate programs, particularly Clinical Psychology and may also carry some undergraduate teaching and supervision responsibilities.

The School has excellent facilities for clinical practice and for paediatric clinical research through the Robin Winkler Clinic, Child Study Centre and the Neurocognitive Developmental Unit. Several current UWA Psychology staff hold Australian Research Council or National Health and Medical Research Council grants for research on child or adolescent disorders and links to the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research are strong.
